Yes, they're 3rd party sellers are an absolute nightmare and there is no checks or balances for them.

There's no feedback system. If there is, I as a 8 year eBay and Amazon Veteran was unable to locate it. Which means Joe Blow has NO CHANCE of finding it.

Do you just keep applying? I've done so twice now... no response

You can use Geekseller to sell on Walmart

Re: Anyone here a marketplace seller on Walmart.com?

I was selling on Walmart.com from about a year (I am located in Canada, and ship from a USA post office). Without warning, all my listings went to 'stage' and I was not selling any more. After a couple of weeks of asking, I was informed that my original application was revetted and my account was suspended permanently. After a couple of months of trying to find out what happened, I was told by Trust and Safety that I needed to update my non-USA business address, and get a Dun & Bradstreet Number. Even though I had provided those items before I was suspended, I supplied them again. A few days later I was told that my account would stay suspended, and I would not be able to appeal.

I can understand being suspended for bad customer service or selling counterfeit items, but to be suspended and not be told why is maddening!

Surely Walmart doesn't have millions of sellers.

No spamming allowed by the way. You're going to get yourself banned.

I contacted Geekseller. They do not provide you an account, they only offer inventory services. Geekseller is worthless if you do not already have active accounts on your marketplaces of choice.

I have been selling on Walmart for years and the interface is a complete disaster. If persistent enough you can get your listings to go live.

The support is the WORST.... I mean the WORST... Every answer is the same. No solutions ever.

Yes. We leave on voicemail cause "support" will call you at midnight, one AM, doesn't matter. So yea...

Yes, it is the best interface to get listings to go live, however again additional cost with the low margins.

Walmart only accepts retail businesses into their platform right?

So you aren't selling anything there? Not making good money?

I'm authorized reseller of very popular brands, all products already listed/approved on walmart.
so I think it will be much easy to join to current listings than create new.

I can do drop shipping(I ship same business day from USA warehouse if order received till 2 PM EST)
So you can try new products without inventory investing.

Let me know if interested.

Still not approved by Walmart...seems odd though

They look at your performance on other platforms like eBay and Amazon to make their decision as well.

Having a large catalog of items helps.

Oh darn, sounds like a pain.

But is it really worth it selling there? Do they actually have the traffic and market like eBay and amazon?

From what I've researched it's about 20% of Amazon sales.

They do google ads and express, so exposure is worth it alone. Really depend on what you are selling and if you can be competitive on their platform.

UPDATE: Still no listing live, modified them as support said over 4 days ago. It’s a real pain in the ass getting items up unless you know their rules.

I have no idea. That's just the number people were throwing around.

Wal-Mart is in competition with Amazon, not eBay. Customer bases are completely different on the two sites in general.

Cheapskates go to eBay, buyers who care about "quality" and good service end up on Amazon. I'd estimate half the buyers on Amazon aren't even aware there are third party sellers. A lot of people who buy on Amazon don't even comparison shop, they just type the item into Amazons search and buy what comes up. eBay buyers are generally more thrifty---at least, thats been my overall experience.

There rae big spenders on both sites, but the majority of users fit these profiles.
