Default How do people advertise in gmail?

You guys know when you log into gmail at the top you can usually see a website address and a small description of what they are selling how do I get my website to show up there?
Im trying to figure out how to also get my website to show up on yahoo using keywords but cant figure it out either.

Yea I did some research on my own thanks for those links also. I saw it is called yahoo advertising and google adwords.
I just checked there prices and it looks like each time someone would click to go to my website they would charge me about $1 so its expensive.

ouch $1 is alot. I always thought they got there through google adwords when you have the option of appearing in search engines and another option for appearing in other relative sites, which i have always thought means appearing in someones adsense package on their site

Yes it can get very expensive but you need to see your conversions and make it worth it for you.

I ran some adwords campaigns and paid $100 a day - but I made a huge ROI so it depends on what/where you advertise. Competition can make you spend more than you really want so find relevant keywords to use.

You can target specific countries/cities that you want to advertise in

You may also want to look into advertising using pictures instead of text links - they would show up in blog/news/social sites...what ever type of site you want to advertise on.

There are cheaper sites out there like 7search.com but I only used that one for arbitrage.

Give adwords a try!
