Yea, and how much time do we save by uploading images directly into Bonanzle? Its real fast... A bunch! I list to Ebay through auctiva and its forever to upload images and it seems like I always have some tech problem doing it... I like Auctiva, but uploading images there drives me nuts!

wookster 05-12-2009 06:55 PM

Actually I am not a stock holder nor affiliated with Bonanzle at all. Just been in the online selling game for over 6 years now and have seen them all and Bonanzle just blows me away. I love to spread the good word on sites and things I find that I feel are important. Friends and family call me 411 from time to time

For everyone wondering how many buyers are on Bonanzle just go and do a search on something using the "sold in last year" filter. I typed in diamond, currently there is 32446 items listed with the word "diamond" now use the sold filter and I find 914 items sold.

I think I am going to buy some Bonanzle stock or something thou.....hmmmm

TMiles 05-13-2009 06:46 AM

This thread is too funny. Over and over people are asking about sales and yet no one has bothered to truly answer. The numbers of listing and users is not as important as the sales' figures.

If you recall, last year "onlineauctions.com' and "sell.com," were showing millions and millions of listings, but hardly any sales.

So, please someone tell us about your "selling" experience, not your listing experience...

Lyda 05-13-2009 08:06 AM

Give it some time TMiles, give it some time.......Will happen!

Vicvelcro 05-13-2009 11:12 AM

Yo, T!

If you read wook's post, just above yours, there's a hint on how you can check it for yourself. You'll trust your own eyes better than the words of another, if you're anything like me.

TMiles 05-16-2009 09:15 AM

Sigh! Yawn!

TMiles 05-16-2009 09:19 AM

Yo V,

Thanks...However, I did read his post. I simply want his experience with sales....

Vicvelcro 05-16-2009 09:37 AM

Myself, I can't speak for sales. I haven't put any effort into selling on Bonanzle yet. I have some things listed but have done ZERO promoting.

I signed up back when there were like 11,000 people. Wasn't that long ago. I've seen the numbers almost double in just the past 60 days. I've known other members who make sales. There's some pretty cool stuff to be found. It's taking off pretty well, as far as I can assess.

I'll be putting effort into my stuff over there during the summer and might/should have something worth seeing by fall. If you can wait that long, I'll let you know how it works out.

kuntrykok 05-16-2009 09:43 AM

I am heading there right now to sign up and list a few items and check it out, it would be great if everyone would boycot Ebay and make Bonzle or whatever the #1 auction site. They may take their Trust and Safety department and give them all pink slips, as all they do is take down listings and never want to communicate with the seller as to why. Just the same old b.s. BONZIE!!!!!

The growth is spectacular. The growth rate is similar to Ebay' initial growth, and that is exciting. In their first ten years of existence, Ebay was the fastest growing company in the history of the world...

Lyda 05-16-2009 10:14 PM

Goodbye Ebay! Hello Bonanzle!!!:cheer:

gurusgrafx 05-16-2009 10:52 PM

^^^^^^^^ I really hope they do fall soon. nothing lasts forever and the way its been going over the last 5 years or so looks like a form of self destruction. I still haven't taken the time to list on Bonanzle. oh well couple more drinks I'll list something see what happens. :bounce:

mylo 05-17-2009 01:04 AM

I posted a few items there about 25% of my stock, no sales even if i can only get a handfull of sales a month it would still be worth my time

I've sold handbags ... Balenciagas & Bottega Venetas. My main problem is that I always forget to list at Bonz! I first list on *bay then plan to list at Bonz later but then forget or the bag sells at *bay. I love the invoices from them, 20 or 30 dollars compared to 1 to 2,000 at *bay.

Burst 05-17-2009 05:54 AM

If I had no other things going on in my life, I could easily make $2000 a day. I wish I could devote that much time. Im somewhat pleased with what Im making a day. I always want more though.

I just signed up for bonanzle and it looks pretty nice. Ill update if anything sells quick.

rafc 05-21-2009 11:34 AM

ok. registered on bonanzle, imported all my ebay items. but it says they are not live or something, that i have to 'activate my booth'. it says there is an activate booth button on the main booth edit page, but i have searched and searched and cannot find it. when i try to edit items eg payment methods it says the page does not exist. can someone help??

ps bonanzle is so simple... could be a winner, but i hope they dont start charging higher fees etc

as it is, their fees are great.

TMiles 05-22-2009 01:58 PM

Rafc, when you are signed in, click Sell Your item and give it a sec for page to load. There will be in upper right part Update my Booth Button. To the left of it it will say how many items you have currently active in your booth. For egzample, you may be listing and listing and let say you listed 24 items and click update booth and you will have in there 24 items. Now, let's say you are not done listing and add 6 more. It wills show you have 24 listing active and 6 that you are working on. You need to click update booth to include those 60 and than it should say you have 30 items in your booth. You must have update button.. just click sell and look for the green button.

I just started listing, adding few every day as I go. Haven't sold yet, but had quite few inquires.

rafc 05-22-2009 07:15 PM

thanks Lyda! got it!

Bonanzle actually looks great - the interface is so simple, the staff are really chill and friendly, there is a fun vibe to it. Every time I log on there are a thousand or two more members. The fees are very low, reasonable for once! Hopefully it will grow. This is not like ioffer or anything else. It is actually giving me a good feeling. As it should. Selling doesn't have to be a chore.

Lyda 05-22-2009 07:48 PM

Exactly! You said it perfectly right Rafc "there is a fun vibe to it". The more I am there , the more I like it every day. I couldn't agree more. I had a minor tech problem yesterday and had to write to support. The response came in few hours, and from a real human being writing back to ME, helping and explaining my situation. Not some robots only inserting my name in pre-written responses.

It's a classy site and it really takes away ALL OF the stress we have listing on Ebay.

mefromfl 05-23-2009 10:42 AM

where do i add my address so people can send me money order?

Lyda 05-24-2009 02:10 AM

I think you only need to check that you accept money order in your settings. Than, if someone wants to pay with MO, that's where your address shows to buyer since they selected this payment option. I think.... I just read something on privacy in there and similar was discussed.

wookster 05-26-2009 09:35 AM

New counts are:
1,968,136 listings
61141 users

Lyda 05-26-2009 02:13 PM

Ya, I started to follow the new member counts and am amazed at how fast the membership is growing. Hundreds of people sign on every day.

oh yea and wookster STOP ACTING LIKE YOU DONT OWN / WORK FOR BONAZAL we aren't stupid - this is the aspkin forum not the ebay community forum - you kinda blew your cover reporting on bonazal daily like CNN

eseller 05-29-2009 07:39 PM

another problem with this site is the name !!!!

sure a seller will book mark and remeber the site but will a buyer????

Lyda 05-29-2009 08:08 PM

Buyers will come too. It's not for everybody, you kinda have to list there what there is a lack of on Ebay, and at good price.

Excuse me buddy don't be hatin because your site sux and Bonanzle is taking off! I sure wish I did work for them thou, sheeze I would be paying off my bills. I am far too busy with my family and 4 kids to be working on anything anymore but I am beyond stoked to see viable alternative to the FeeBay giant.

tripleflip18 06-03-2009 01:01 PM

I have a question, there is Feedback import function. At Bonanzle i have Registration information 1, ebay has different Name/address, is it possible to import feedback and is it safe to do so with different information between them, any information shared?

Thank you!

Lyda 06-03-2009 07:09 PM

All they want to import feedback is your Ebay user ID and password. They don't check whos account it is....

so its totally safe?

Lyda 06-04-2009 07:22 AM

I believe so, I had my feedback imported too. All they wanted to know is Ebay ID and password. You could not know password if it wasn't your account...My acc. owner details don't match either (my Bonanzle info is my real info and Ebay is Stealth acc.) and never was asked anything.

Juicyas 06-04-2009 10:00 AM

I think he meant is it safe to give them your ebay login/password

Lyda 06-04-2009 03:08 PM

Yes, it is.

tripleflip18 06-05-2009 10:03 PM

Thank you guys!
