Ageing a stripe account
I just got permanently suspended from square, it was a legit account with all my real info and nothing really fishy going on.
I kind of saw it coming as I had the account a few months and did a few small transactions then got a spike in payments over a week. Being confident that everything is legit I wasn't really fearing it happen. So got the request for more info which I supplied and 2 days later got a indefinitely suspended. I was lucky as all my money cleared so not much hard feelings there.
Going forward I now registered for stripe which actually works a bit better for me and has a slightly lower % for processing cc.
I don't want to fall into the same trap again tho, waited 2 days and did a $220 transaction with a prepaid cc from myself (yes this will be against terms but its not traceable)
Now how long do I wait to take more payments and how slow roughly should I go? 1-2 payments per week, say 50-100? |
