Ageing a stripe account

I just got permanently suspended from square, it was a legit account with all my real info and nothing really fishy going on.
I kind of saw it coming as I had the account a few months and did a few small transactions then got a spike in payments over a week. Being confident that everything is legit I wasn't really fearing it happen. So got the request for more info which I supplied and 2 days later got a indefinitely suspended. I was lucky as all my money cleared so not much hard feelings there.


Going forward I now registered for stripe which actually works a bit better for me and has a slightly lower % for processing cc.

I don't want to fall into the same trap again tho, waited 2 days and did a $220 transaction with a prepaid cc from myself (yes this will be against terms but its not traceable)

Now how long do I wait to take more payments and how slow roughly should I go? 1-2 payments per week, say 50-100?

You shouldn’t wait or buy from yourself.. just sale as normal and supply docs if requested

Feels like sub 50 for few weeks then transition to sub 100 then so on...

If you're legit why do you need to warm up a payment processor account?

Yeah that was pretty much my thought

Its just not worth the extra risk honestly

Agreed - don't buy from yourself OP - avoid that risk
