Sometimes people project their flaws and encompass it as if it applies to everyone. My last account from 2019-2022 had similar situation where at some point I would list products and they'd get flagged, or I would have other listings randomly removed where I needed to provide invoices.
For one, every marketplace does this to some extent if you sell long enough. Unless you sell non branded items its pretty hard to avoid this. You don't know who is possibly reporting you, if you piss one customer off they could spend all their day reporting you. It is that easy sadly.
Secondly, it is best to study your own habits. For example I noticed if listed 20 items quickly of a particular brand it would result in the bot flagging them. So I stopped doing it, that simple. If you repeat the same mistake over and over you'll never fix the problem.
Thirdly, if you have customers who open return requests then you're going to trigger bots to be more sensitive towards your account.
I do not believe there is any "amount" once you pass Mercari auto flags everything. That doesn't even make sense from a business perspective. It's about how quickly you obtain certain selling patterns that are unrealistic unless you are stealth. There isn't one marketplace I have sold on where I go from $0 to making thousands per month without a learning curve. It is a steady progression overtime.
