Mercari Stealth 2023

Ran into the same problem with eBay, but Mercari wants SSN and EIN. Obviously my SSN is linked to a banned account. How do we get around this?

I'm guessing there is not a way around this unfortunately, most people prob just try to ask a relative for their info (very stupid, no matter how much you trust someone, if you are not a part of the business, don't give them your info lmao)

Yep, man it use to be so easy before all this stupid $600 limit stuff came into play. Change it back to 20k

Last year, so recent. They def would link my accounts.

I mean if you already assume you're going to be linked then there is nothing else to do moving forward. You already closed the door.

Try making an account the amazon way. It has worked for some members this way.

What's the Amazon way? You talking about saying its a corporation? On Mercari though, it doesn't matter what you put (Sole p, single llc, llc, corp, etc.) they want a SSN and EIN.

No I meant hardware wise. LIke new computer or completely flushed out computer, make that dedicated to mercari and 1 mercari ACC only. etc

I don't think you understand that here in the US, no matter what platform you HAVE to give a SSN no matter what, no way around it. It did not use to be like this last time I tried to get back on eBay, amazon and mercri 2 years ago.

I mean I understand your setups, but I have no problems with setups / account linking. My only problem is just getting to selling in the first place cause everyone wants SSN.

Until now, when you have just created an account, you have been asked to verify your identity. No need to sell up to $ 600

I've wondered how long the link would even take. If the link takes a while then it would be worth it to keep creating over and over. I've heard that eBay doesnt care about the information Adyen is gathering. Then again, this is Mercari we are talking about. The "legal" thieves of e-commerce. They'll rob, and/or screw you at a moment's notice no matter your feedback and history.

On another note, I tried to create two stealth accounts just to test the theory of linkage and even used fresh residential ips and they wanted id before the account creation was even over. Highly sus.

I know they ask for ID randomly once your're doing a good amount of sales. I think eBay has started doing the same as well. I think the USA legal stealth days are over. Seems like you'll need someone to allow you to use their info. Or if you're just trying to drop ship, then buy a UK or Euro eBay.

Some would use mother,father,grandpa,grandma,or buy a SSN.
There are accounts for sale which comes with SSN,but ?
SSN of individuals who have left the country and no intention of coming back,SSN of deceased individuals?

Lol the last part is illeg*l, but that is usually how stealth USA eBay's are made currently. I have like 5-10k worth of personal stuff I'm trying to sell, I don't have much intention of dealing with headache of making money with eBay. Just trying to get back on as my items will not sell elsewhere or nearly for as much.

Oh, there are "stealth accounts" for Mercari that can be had for under 100 bucks. But the nice clause of identity theft hangs over them. I'm not about getting a few years in prison over trying to make a quick buck.

One of the obstacles that I came upon was being able to buy a VCC that had address verification to bypass Mercari's system. It seems to be pretty good.

Dang their getting tougher, they didn't ask me where things we're coming from until like around 20k.

And you can drop ship on mercari if you have a USA supplier and it can't be amazon either as it must be able to track or else buyer will easily get refunded.
