Has anyone tried this yet? Sounds like it would make things much easier. Instead of having to worry about changing ip to make your paypal payment, you could make your purchases from any ip, use your suspended paypal address to ship to and avoid paypal limitations. You transfer your money to dhgate by western union or bank transfer where it's held in your e-wallet account for your purchases and you can withdraw to. Sounds like a great idea.

I saw that option the other day but haven't purchased anything off of DHGate since then. They also said you could pay directly from your bank account if it had ACH debit on it but everytime I purchase something that option isn't there. The E-Wallet does sound like a good idea but I would rather just pay for each purchase as I make it. The WU fees aren't that much plus if you have the WU Gold card you get the points.

For me its usually $15, I don't like to risk more than several hundred bucks in 1 transaction.

I'm very impressed with the new e-Wallet system. I have found that my payments are confirmed and shipped with 48 hrs now with this new system. Seems to be a lot more efficient. I have been very impressed with DhGate's service & website here lately.

No, e wallet payments must be western union or bank transfer (wire). However, you can pay your orders via paypal, but not using the ewallet option. You can always change your shipping address within dhgate if you want.

You can do on the site, they give you all the payment info.

Yes. They even give you a credit (they call it rewards) to offset the fees for Western Union.

I would never pay an individual seller via Western Union, but I've had no problems with DHgate.

If you haven't had any problems then you should be fine up till now but keep in mind you can run into problems paying with paypal like payments being reversed and similar annoying problems.

Yes. Perfectly safe. But sometimes DHgate is unable to process credit cards. I think they have some sort of a limit on how much they can process in any given day, which is why they push PayPal so much. But many customers refuse to pay via PayPal (myself included) so they came up with the e-wallet.

I have used it since it came out, and have had no problems.

they can process Cc's Jeff. It's just that most banks and Cc issuers block international transactions to cut down on Fraud. You ahve to call your bank or credit card issuer before hand and tell them you are going to make a trusted transaction and they will lift the block or that transaction or fora day or two. They are just afraid of being liable for transactions made on your acct. from overseas.

I use e- wallet and its fine. anyone ever get limited after making a dhgate purchase with pp??

I have a BOA card and it went through instantly. I did get charged a $6 fee I believe because it was for an international transaction.
