What are you talking about Jonas? iOffer doesn't ask for money until you sell something, or if you want to upgrade your listing. iOffers traffic is 2nd only to ebay, in the US that is. I sold my first thing on there yesterday, but yes if it were ebay I'd sold 10-20 yesterday already. If you want to sell ⊗⊗⊗⊗ stuff, ioffer is where you list.

411guru 04-28-2008 01:12 PM

They are all correct. Ioffer sucks, unless that is you are selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ LV purses etc. I see those chinese sellers making bank. Even the customers know they are ⊗⊗⊗⊗ but don't care. If there is a market for it, why not? I'm going to buy up all my friends ⊗⊗⊗⊗ purse inventory which he has left over from getting killed by ebay. I'm going to start selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ purses on ioffer.

Kleidis 04-28-2008 09:06 PM

Actually they do have a vero type program called COPS...
Counter Online Piracy System or some nonsense like that..
I've had a few listings pulled by them. You get a nice message
from them, stating that your listing was removed by COPS (in
very large writing).. I think I was supposed to be impressed or something...

Jonas 04-29-2008 06:48 AM

Hmm I read it wrong.

jscan 04-29-2008 06:52 AM

LOL haha funny game

octagon69 04-29-2008 04:30 PM

The only thing that really sells on Ioffer is ⊗⊗⊗⊗ purses and accessories. Even other ⊗⊗⊗⊗ stuff like dvds and what not do not sell that well on IOffer. Also a lot of dead beats buyers.

I prefer Ecrater.com, I just have my best month selling 21 items. ... No where near as good as ebay but it helps.

411guru 04-29-2008 04:36 PM

ecrater is cool but they don't allow html in their listings, which is stupid. html is important for the product I want to sell.

Sammi007 05-04-2008 04:12 AM

iOffer is dead.....I signed up 1 month ago and have not sold anything....I like their FeePay parody of eBay though...

Jonas 05-04-2008 07:43 PM

ebid.net and ecrater.com I found are the same way. No sales.

ebayhateluv 05-04-2008 07:46 PM

HI Guys:
Ive sold a few things over the years, but you cant pay your bills with the sales, thats for sure..
They were all Bargained offers... the folks I am assuming want ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods, as when you offer them legit items, for say $49, they offer you $5..??

411guru 05-08-2008 05:03 PM

Yes ⊗⊗⊗⊗ is 99.9% of stuff on ioffer. FYI its been 3 weeks and I made a grand total of $4.90 from 2 listings. Sighhhhhhhh

411guru 05-13-2008 10:07 AM

Update:

I've just sold 3 more items yesterday. However, I sell digital items and the price I am charging is less than half of what I sold on ebay. Therefore, for you guys selling physical items, I don't know how it will be for you. I am going to increase the price.

Another thing, Ioffer has restricted me from selling because I have "too many unrated transactions" I mean I've sold 5 total and only 1 was rated and that because I begged the buyer to rate me. I mean wtf is his? We all know that 1 out of 10 buyers will ever leave feedback. How the hell am I going to continue selling if I get restricted everytime I don't get feedback? They want me to beg buyers for feedback and they will unrestricted me.

Anyone had this happen?

imjustme 05-13-2008 10:42 AM

I use eBay, you guys should give it a try :D

411guru 05-13-2008 10:54 AM

lulz, be there, done that

2eXclusiive 05-13-2008 02:01 PM

there are more ⊗⊗⊗⊗ on ebay, but ebay is smart with it, they take the money you owe them and then give you the boot.

Actually they used to until they started realizing they were losing crazy amounts of money. Now they don't do it as much or at all.

2eXclusiive 05-13-2008 07:38 PM

how much do you think ioffer makes a month?

411guru 05-13-2008 09:13 PM

Maybe 5million in sales annually. Info from alexa.com.

$5million
=O
dont you think thats a little over the top
i was thinking around $25,000.00

411guru 05-13-2008 09:22 PM

$25,000 a year or month lol? They make alot of commission of thousands of ⊗⊗⊗⊗ LV purses that sell everyday. I sell one thing for $2.95 and they take .50 cents. I think thats more then ebay.

2eXclusiive 05-13-2008 09:43 PM

$25,000.00-$50,000.00 a month
5million is a little extreme
don't you think/?

amandalc 05-14-2008 08:10 AM

I had been searching and searching for an entire set of dvds for a tv series and I posted a want ad, I ended up having someone reply to me within a day and I got the whole set used for about 1/3 of what I had been seeing them for on ebay. So as for buying it can be pretty good if you are looking for something. But I dont know about selling unless you had a really hard to find high deman item.
