Thanks for your experience with iOffer. Every little bit helps.

Ever think of this. Get back on Ebay under another account, offer the digital product as a shipped CD but also let your customers know they can download the digital product now while the cd is being shipped to them. At that level I am not averse to putting 10 cd's in my cd tower and burning 10 or 20 cd's in 5 minutes. Drop them in a 10 cent cd mailer and you are done.

A little birdy told me some sellers are offering the download service as an added bonus for their hard copy cd customers. Some even had a note in the high bidder email and/or download page if you don't require the hardcopy cd let me know.

thanks 411guru
i guess im lucky ive had ALOT more sales then that on ioffer
and im up for 2-3 months

greg2414 06-24-2008 08:44 AM

what u selling 2ex? on ioffer that is

sparkle 06-24-2008 11:07 AM

I think the review is a little harsh. IMO the site is technically superior to ebay with so many more features which ebay should have been implemented years ago but never will.

greg2414 06-24-2008 11:10 AM

sparkle your mad lol, there is no control over ⊗⊗⊗⊗ what so ever, it's a completely different type of selling aswell as the buyers can haggle

sparkle 06-24-2008 11:37 AM

I didnt mean the management was better, I meant the technical features of the site and the seller tools. I like the haggle feature too.

Yes, you can
=D

ive done it.

411guru 06-24-2008 12:32 PM

Thanks for the info HairyOldEbayer. I already knew about that. But I am weary as I've seen people get suspended because of that. One of my competitors.

sparkle, I do like some of the features of iOffer but the fact is the site is still very buggy and slow.

ex, Are you selling compare to brands? If so I have hella access to that.

Say, has anyone used the homepage feature? Is it worth it at $20?

You know who is rolling in money on iOffer? ⊗⊗⊗⊗ software sellers. hmmmm...

2eXclusiive 06-24-2008 12:41 PM

you know what i realized
most of the people selling on ioffer have been suspended on ebay, and have no where else to go.
thats why its filled with ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

411guru - if you sell ⊗⊗⊗⊗, then you should be making a bundle selling on ioffer.

Goodwheel 06-24-2008 01:29 PM

I hate ioffer! They have WAY too many nonpaying bidders and not enough actual customers. Their site gets pretty much no traffic compared to eBay. I think all ioffer did was inspired me to get back on ebay so i think it wasn't a total wasteful experience :D

NOT...alot of suppliers from china go on that site and sell to people as low as one item for regular wholesale price. So if you're expecting to make actual profit...hell no you're better off setting up a booth at the flea market if your ⊗⊗⊗⊗ can't pass on ebay

2eXclusiive 06-24-2008 01:42 PM

i did not say you had to be a supplier or anything for that matter

the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ on ioffer
for example :
software -
i see software on ioffer for as little as $25.00 SELLING LIKE IF IT WAS THE BEST DEAL IN THE WORLD
and the software being sold on ioffer are copies identical to the authentic, not alot of people can tell them apart unless a person really looks into it.

anyways those software(s) cost around $10.00 plus shipping, and if you buy in bulk you could probably get it for cheaper

When I travel to Thailand, I always buy software copies of games and stuff there. I'm just too lazy to download the 10GB games or 4GB softwares. Costs $3 per DVD. Not per CD, but per DVD. And they're still making a profit on it.

and alot of people are making a killing selling it on ioffer, ebay (because its on dvd) and some probably have their own website.

imjustme 06-24-2008 02:49 PM

I doubt they sell DVD copies on eBay. They'd get VERO'd.

2eXclusiive 06-24-2008 02:52 PM

ahh yes the vero team
but the games also?

imjustme 06-24-2008 04:29 PM

I wouldn't know, but I guess so.

2eXclusiive 06-24-2008 04:37 PM

i don't think they would, i don't know

411guru 06-24-2008 08:12 PM

Thats right. ⊗⊗⊗⊗ software sells like crack, or ecstasy, or xanax. I see people on there who just joined 1 month ago and already has 300+ transactions. You can see how many they sold in their feedback even though the buyers didn't rate them yet. Making bank I tell you. The only thing stopping me is I don't want to get pwned by the FBI. I don't know why Microsoft or other companies haven't cracked down on iOffer yet.

2eXclusiive 06-24-2008 08:14 PM

it really is crazy, ive seen lots of 20, 50 and even 100
