Yes, I've been enjoying quite a few sales there myself.

Make sure you update your information so it will show in UK currency too - I have a lot of UK buyers.

rangerschool 11-29-2011 11:35 AM

Im in. Going to see if this works. They definitely have a ton of great categories and no ridiculous fees.

teedon 12-06-2011 09:27 AM

Ecrater is a good site. Could have more options but is free. What’s better than free?

If you have been getting frustrated with eBay, just take a look at eCrater, the fees could not be better (absolutely FREE); The site is very clean and bug free, you have control over how you run your own business… your customers are your customers…

I make the comment above ,i have to claim that I am not work for Ecrater, but ebay really charge a lot ,and paypal also charge a lot.

To this day I still can't figure out how to get anythig listed on ecrater.

Pringles 12-22-2011 10:48 PM

it's pretty easy and straightforward. anyone know if we can mark orders as shipped?

vany 12-23-2011 07:35 AM

will definitely give it a try, can anyone figure out the traffic volume in there?
how about using a pp that has eb linked to it and link it to ecrater... or better create a new one for them?
thanks for your help

Not on EC. Only in PP.

And vany, EB and EC have nothing to do with each other. Connecting them to one PP is fine.

vany 12-24-2011 06:36 AM

@unknown5454, thanks for the tip, great news for me , less hassle... do you know if the 21 day hold is applicable if you receive money from ecrater?

No, that only applies to EB.

And EC accepts GCO and PP for payments. Very easily done.

Has anyone heard of accounts on ecrater getting shut down?

oblong 12-25-2011 10:13 PM

Someone give me a small hint when it comes to ecrater:

Are they high, mid or low priced items that are a success?:pop2:

Yes they do. But, have a look at their TOS. It is very simple. Don't break those few rules and you are fine. EC is quite relaxed people. Take some time to learn about them on your own...

I've been with them for over 2 years.

lucy 12-26-2011 11:10 AM

does anything sell on ecrater looks very quite to me

unkown5454 12-26-2011 01:11 PM

They don't have a completed sales section like EB, so how would you know unless you are a seller there like myself?

They have more than you think, but no one here is forcing you to actually put effort into trying something new.
