Make sure you update your information so it will show in UK currency too - I have a lot of UK buyers.

Im in. Going to see if this works. They definitely have a ton of great categories and no ridiculous fees.

Ecrater is a good site. Could have more options but is free. What’s better than free?

If you have been getting frustrated with eBay, just take a look at eCrater, the fees could not be better (absolutely FREE); The site is very clean and bug free, you have control over how you run your own business… your customers are your customers…

I make the comment above ,i have to claim that I am not work for Ecrater,but ebay really charge a lot ,and paypal also charge a lot.

To this day I still can't figure out how to get anythig listed on ecrater.

Not on EC. Only in PP.

And vany, EB and EC have nothing to do with each other. Connecting them to one PP is fine.

No, that only applies to EB.

And EC accepts GCO and PP for payments. Very easily done.

Yes they do. But, have a look at their TOS. It is very simple. Don't break those few rules and you are fine. EC is quite relaxed people. Take some time to learn about them on your own...

They don't have a completed sales section like EB, so how would you know unless you are a seller there like myself?

They have more than you think, but no one here is forcing you to actually put effort into trying something new.:shocked:

I would say rather than wasting my time on these site, I would concentrate making more eBay stealth accounts..

Ecrater could easily substitute for your own website. Since it is free, I cannot see how it would hurt to try it.

You could enclose a little AD with each eBay shipment directing people to your ecrater site and build some business that way.

With those numbers, it just sounds like you sell a shi**y product.

No agent for anyone. I just defend solid third party e-commerce alternatives to EB and AZ who have paid all my bills and do not delete my accounts.

EC along with just a few others has completely replaced my business I once had on EB and AZ.

Hell yes, they do not check anything of the sort compared to EB and AZ. All you need to survive is a solid PP or GCO account for payments.

Any advice for selling high end electronics.. I.E Beats By Dre. Headphones , Apple iPhone 4 32gb?

They monitor V e R O so don't think because the site is simple that you can get rich scamming people.

Unlike EB, PP, AZ, etc...they will close your account without notice and ask you to provide receipts. Since you can't, you know the rest of the story...

First off, please don't ASSUME when quoting me that i'm out to SCAM some one.. I certainly believe in Karma, and NEVER ONCE scammed any one on e-bay.. I practice honestly.. Customs theft on three high priced items caused me to be in the conundrum i'm in with E-bay.. Hence the steath account, I see absolutely no problem, in "Scamming" as you call or it, or as I call it, taking advantage of the many FREE and legal availabilites out there to activate cc, checking, etc etc... :pry:


Second.. How do you know I or the royal WE can't provide receipts.. Again ASSUMING.. And you know what ASSUMING does right?

From what I understand by reading these forums, and perhaps this will educate those less fortunate.. E-bay does not have time to go over receipts with a fine tooth comb, and call up suppliers, each individually one by one.. Stuff can be very easily, marked with a nice pen.. And altered.. Not to SCAM but to slide past the radar, and SELL LEGIT ITEMS.. That we have the right to do!! HUGE CORPORATIONS are making MILLIONS everyday, such as E-bay And Paypal... Destroying livilhoods in the process.. Families, going into poverty.. I've read countless stories, of Power Sellers making 20 30 50k a month or more.. Suddenly it STOPPED.. With no back up.. For no reason.. Then what do you do with all of stock with no back up plan? Ouch.. we'd be up poo creek with no paddle "Big Time"


I appreciate your input, but please don't assume things.. We are here to help everyone, and MOST if not ALL want to sell things legitimatly and establish a name.. In one way shape or form.. In hopes of moving on to bigger endevours without the use of E-bay...
