Is it worth diving into the Etsy world? Have never had an account there, but looking for something besides Ebay. I sell *handmade* jewellery (tongue in cheek).

If you do not learn the right way, you will get a knife in your back from the other sellers on that platform.....

Is there a guide I can read? I pretty much buy from china and resell. Have the items on hand etc. Take my own photos.

Etsy is well, well worth it.
I sell a ton of items on Etsy.
Easy dealing with people, easy printing labels, easy listings etc.

Thanks, will give it a go. No doubt you have to offer paypal? If so it will have to be stealth paypal, therefore stealth Etsy. As I prefer people to pay into my bank, can I offer this or because it will be my own details on the bank account.

You may want to use a bank but as of right now.....Paypal will be the ONLY option when it comes to Etsy Stealth. Of course, you don't have to sell on Etsy so it's up to you.

etsy does have payment options.
bank account transfers come under OTHER on the site.
Consider avoiding them though. Protection is important for both seller/buyer.

No one sends money to any bank account on etsy.
Etsy collects the money and like Amazon sends it to your bank in payments.

Buyers can protect themselves by paying with paypal or credit card.
I have purchased a lot of items off etsy to resell on ebay and not one single issue as of yet. Knock on wood.
