YEah, why don't people just peacefully learn from successful stores----->> find way to improve their own shops. And instead of reporting/leaving bad feedbacks for others, why don't just ⊗⊗⊗⊗ your own good feedbacks? It's cheaper.:FF:
I think, unless you are an outside company or friends with admins, it will take lots of reports for et.sy to take action. I had 2 other sellers (one USA, the other from EU) reported me. They e-mailed me to notify me that they reported my shop for using their pictures. But the photos are actually generic demonstrations from chinese craft suppliers with chinese model. Nothing happened to me after that. Until an EU company came in and wiped all of us out. It was weird that only the sellers from Asia survived. I have learned to how to "mask" from them

I'm aware of that IF. Just really hope the new products will work for me by adding more variations + better return policies. Or do you mean about the "IF" about the old banned merchandise?

I would go ahead and list as many of your items as you can. what I am saying is after a few initial feedbacks sales pick up dramatically. the thing with Etsy is you really have to list a boat load of items to be found especially if you are selling in a competitive niche. I had a new shop and no sales for the first week or so, after I got a few feedbacks, even one 1 star feedback, sales started to become consistent.

The ⊗⊗⊗⊗ feedback works, I got some more sales now, not much because of all existing shops. But it's a fairly good start

Yup, this strategy works great. I have been adding alot lately & more sales came in,. Not much but it's getting better

Yes, they want that .20 per item listing fee. Badly.

But at least they haven't raised that and the final value fees over the years. Whereas it seems every year fleabay keeps raising fees.
