Default Someone please explain csv files?

Ok so I'm working on getting back into google base for another round, but I felt so clueless last time. I would like to have a handle on what csv files are and how to use them. It seems everyone and their dog are advertising them now and I have an itching sensation that it's just a matter of time before I'll be using them too, so might as well start now.

So if anyone has a dummies guide to using csv files (and especially with Google Base) for listing large amounts of inventory, please share. I need everything from the basics (what they are and what they mean to me) to how to use them and edit them, to saving, exporting, and moving them around to various accounts. So basically a bit of everything. Thanks

CSV files are for databases mostly. You use it to organize your products or what ever is in your database. It is your database really, in a way, just on your computer. Google base uses it to organize your products. I think base has a template CSV file, you simply enter your own database and upload it back to base and they'll setup your products for you. It's not more then turbolister CSV.

Here is some great information about it.
