| I've seen four variations today alone, and it beats me. It has started to become distracting. I bet the mods will take notice soon.
There should be a welcome section where new signups can announce their memberships. They can be guided right from the welcome / signup email, which should explicitly list what should not be done. I should like new members to:
1. To only announce their membership on a specific thread.
2. Have the link to the marketplace and the stealth guide included in their welcome e-mail
3. Be instructed not to post a request for products/services.
4. Search the forum diligently before posting what might turn out to be an unnecessary duplicate.
