It is a good goal and very achievable especially with multiple streams of income.

So if 50K net is your goal, currently in your product, how many units need to be sold to make that goal obtainable?

Example, If you are selling autos and your average profit after all expenses is $1000.00 per auto, you would have to sell 50 autos per month.

In my world average profit is around $20.00 with a mix of $300, $1000 and $23 items. Smaller items average say $6.00 and some of the $1000 items say $90, etc...so to make life easy, average profit per unit is $20.00 so $50,000.00/$20.00 = 2500 units need to be sold per month.

Of course this is very boiled down for reference only. A lot of factors come into this including ability to sell, more products added, market flooding, other sources of income, availability of product, margin fluctuation, seasonal adjustments, cost of money, cost of time and countless others.

I know this an old thread. I have been trying to work on my 50k goal. But I haven't nearly got there. Is there any advice you can give me to rise up my profits? Niches? Personal advice? I see you have alot of experience doing this. I always open and want to learn new things and techniques. I could PM you if you would like.

So... You want help but you have yet to share ANY information with others? I'm finding it hard to understand how do you think this thing will work out.
If you expect others to share sensitive information with you, why don't you start by sharing some with us first so that we could at least perhaps suggest some ideas?
You have been working on that 50k for some time now, how far from your goal are you and what steps have you taken to get there? Any good success stories, any mistakes or bad losses that you've made along the way?

Nobody will tell you how to get rich, nobody will share a product or even a category- Nor should they.
The best chance you have is that you share the info that you can with others and hope that the suggestions are worth the time.
People have bags of experience here, people are succeful at what they do and are all willing to help, but it's impossible to help or advise somebody who shares nothing, but expects everything.

I can be as open as I want with my product because it's foolproof and I rack in some serious hard profits:
I sell used Dildoes on eBay and so far I'm £18 in profit, for year 2015.

Five dollars is the true answer
