This ip address kind of different

So i sometimes get this type of ip
2601:601:9d80:6a6:ec3f:21f5:(last 4 digits not shown)

Is this like new type of ip? or is it more stealth...

That's IPv6. Go to whoer.net to see your IPv4.

Can also simply disable ipv6 if you wish

does it matter ipv6 vs ipv4?

i mean first reaction is the ipv6 is eye sore so definetly ipv4 seems better

most sites are not ipv6 capable so they only see ipv4

so really only your ipv4 matters, can disable ipv6 completely without issue
