Safest and quickest to change your IP with Sky Broadband?? HELP???

I'm struggling with getting my head around how to change your IP address with Sky Broadband. If anyone has any experience with or know how to change your IP address safely and quickly on Sky Broadband please could they help me. I have been told that for Sky it is very easy and quick to do however I am new to the whole changing your IP yourself through the router or whatever so yeah, if anyone could help me out that would be great! I just need to know how to change the IP address on Sky Broadband, thanks!

Check your IP

Unplug the router

Wait 30 seconds

Turn it back on

Check the new IP

If it’s changed then your set

Okay that sounds easy enough, but with this new IP address does that mean that I cannot log into any other eBay or PayPal during the time of using my stealth account as this may cause links? Also how do I get this new IP address back... once i've turned the router on and off and I've got my new IP address, surely when I follow this step again it's going to be a completely different IP address? And finally, as it is my home broadband once I've changed the IP address and use my stealth accounts, would I need to change the IP address again just in case lets say my Mum or sister decides to log into their PayPal account which once again could cause a link?
