Depends on what part of the US you live in too... I know for a fact if you live anywhere between Miami and Daytona from the east side to west side of the state of Florida you will only be able to get 2G service on a flashed to 3G Verizon MiFi or Phone. (unless someone found a new Verizon PRL that works that I'm not aware of yet).

I've heard others say the same about where they live in other states so keep that in mind.

* If your trying to access the web using a alias IP address, cellular IP's are the best choice since there is no way to detect you are hiding your true IP. (no open ports, no data center ISP, MTU would be 1500).

If you were trying to hack something serious, a cellular IP from a burner would be your best bet as long as you went about getting the device the correct way.

If you want to be 100% sure, disconnect the Ethernet cable that way the only connection is the MiFi through WiFi on the built in wireless card on the Mac.

You need to play around with VM ware to figure out how all the connections work. In VM ware there is like 3 different ways to do the same thing when it comes to connecting to internet.

You could also disable all internet connections in VMware and use a USB wirless adapter. It will connect automatically to the guest if you plug it in while you are in the guest OS screen.

I see they have flashed to 4Glte for $5 a month now. Maybe I'm late to the party, I just saw them yesterday for the 1st time..

I wonder how many IP addresses these things give? I'm guessing its no where close to what 3G gives..

I think I ended up getting around 250 IP's with my AT&T personal phone so I'm guessing its probably the same until they start switching people over to 5G.

Encase you dont know about the 3G I logged 752 IP's and only got a duplicate once... Swear to God....

You never seen the Verizon Flashed Mifi's?

FYI Guys, there are some sellers on ebay selling $30/month 4G/LTE unlimited Data...that's not a bad price especially for unlimited data.

I think you read that wrong.... Or your messing with me since I built that VPN server out of a flashed 3G phone... I was saying now there are sellers selling Unlimited 4G/LTE for $5 a month.... Not just 3G...

Yesterday I talked to the two guys I bought my flash devices from... One in New Jersey and one in Kansas... They said this flash can be done to phones too but its in their best interest not to because its easy for some one to see what they did to them and replicate it. They told me you get 1000GB of data a month before you get throttled. I didnt bother to ask about how many IP's since they probably have no idea. I'd guess the count its only in the 200's, nothing like what you get with 3G.

They also told me they were able to figure out what was wrong with the 3G flashes that caused them to only work on 2G and have a work around. So I'm guessing the 3G flashes work everywhere again. (Can anyone confirm this)? If you live in Florida and have a fully functioning flashed to Verizon 3G let me know.

yea, that's what he said.. 1 TB.... I dont see how tho... I thought there is a limit placed by the one of the government agency's on cellular data to keep the congestion at a minimum.

At least thats what the AT&T rep told me after my daughter took it upon herself to change our phone plan thinking she could get around paying overages and they kicked us out of the plan we were grandfathered in on that charged for overages instead of throttling the connection.

I just got word back that the Flash to Verizon 4G/LTE for $5/month uses a Static IP.

Maybe there are other flashes that do it another way...( the $30/month MM78 was talking about). I have no idea... But I suggest asking the seller before buying one of these flashed to Verizon 4G/LTE $5/month to make sure you can get more than one IP.

The guy I use says he has the fix for the 3G flash so I'm going to clone him a Windows 7 VM and set up Flexihub so he can remote in and get my 3G going again.

LMAO....

I have to laugh... anyone who knows me knows I've been OCDing on this damn 3G for well over a year now and have wasted countless hours and gone to great extent trying to keep it operational.

edit: I just talked to the guy in New Jersey and he says his flash to 4G/LTE for $5/month has dynamic IP's

Guy in Kansas said his 4G/LTE flash only gives a Static IP.

No, I just realized they (flashed to Verizon 4G/LTE unlimited data for $5/month) existed the other day.

I've bought multiple flashed to Verizon 3G unlimited data devices (two phones and a MiFi) over the last couple years.

I might get one... But 1st Im trying to get my 3G device fixed. Both the sellers I've bought from said they have a fix now to get the 3G working again. The guy I bought the MiFi from said he can fix it remotely through Flexihub so I cloned a Windows 7 VM and installed it. I'm just waiting on him to get back to me.

The number of IP's Verizon 3G gives is more important to me than the speed I'd get from 4G/LTE.

I'm still a little confused why one seller (the one I trust the most (I found him in a CDMA forum)) told me his 4G/LTE flashes have a Static IP and the eBay seller told me his are dynamic. The eBay seller is also the one who told me that you get 1000GB <=(his words) before you get throttled. I find that hard to believe as well.

I bought a used 6620L on eBay and then purchased a remote 4G LTE flash from another seller for a fee and then a subscription of $5/mo. I get dynamic IPs from a LogicWeb ISP in New Jersey (I'm from NY). Previously it was in Chicago but then after a few days/number of restarts it switched to NJ.

On Whoer, it says the ISP is LogicWeb but on Browserleaks it says it's a GoLightSpeed.

Don't know if that's expected with a flashed unit or if it's a problem or not. Either way, I can still use it for other things if not PayPal/eBay.

I don't think there is such a thing as Flashed 4G/LTE Mifi's for $5/month. The only Mifi's that cost $5/month are the ones Flashed to 3G.

All 3 of the flashed to 3G devices I've bought use Verizon as a ISP... So to me that seems strange. I would think a flashed to verizon would give a verizon ISP... The seller I use from New Jersey is the one that told me his flashes to 4G/LTE had dynamic IP.
