No access to the router or modem change ip?

So I just moved into this new apartment that gives us free cable internet but I have no access to the router or modem so what options would I have where I can change my Ip address?

are you going to be sharing ip's with a lot of people? If so thats enough in itself that you personally might not link accounts but what if someone else is surfing ebay all day long while you switch ips to switch accounts. their account may be linked to all of yours.

I'm not really that paranoid like a couple tinfoil hat wearing guys on here, but stealthy is only as stealthy as you make it.

Use their free internet access for everything except eBay and PayPal. Using Auctiva would be OK as long as you don't generate your token on there.

If I was you I would get a 3G phone and tether it to my Computer for actual eBay and PayPal use.

^^^^^^^Thats what I do. 3G for ebay other peoples internet for everything else.
