setting up an internet connection with my stealth account

hi there, I'm here to ask a few questions sorry if they sound dumb but im learning! lol

I'm looking to connect my eBay account to the interwebs but unsure of the best way to go about doing it and what would be best to use as in hardware. I have a spare laptop (apple) and also I have a Samsung tablet.

somone I spoke with suggested tethering, I guess that would be just using a mobile phone linked to the laptop or tablet to get the internet connection.
I have also been looking at the dongles you can put a sim card as it would be cheaper than buying a phone to use for the tethering.

or what about just getting a new/used phone and a new sim and just running my eBay off of that?

i don't know if I would need a VPN with any of those though.

my other option was to use firefox on my pc, use IPBurger add on for a new ip and run it off there.

Here's my basic offering. Data sims are sooo cheap in the UK it's the easiest way forward IMO.

well im sorry to have asked a question that I didn't really find the answer I was looking for when I looked on the forums, yes I have seen similar questions asked and quite a few of them had no replies. Some of the ones I did find that had replies too were quite old and in today's tech world a week old question can be out of date.

as you can see from my question I sort of have an idea and have done my homework, a few weeks ago I came here and knew nothing but thanks to the people here who had answered my questions im getting there slowly.
