| DanielPatrick | 01-31-2020 07:24 PM | VPN Providers - Revealing Real Information Let's say I've connected with my VPN and my IP address changed pretending that I'm residing in a different area or country. Are your tracks still covered? If they really wanted to investigate your tracks, can people from the state contact the VPN Provider and reveal your real IP? What if you use a Proxy or Public Wi-Fi? Can you ever be traced? A VPN encrypts your data where a Proxy will just change your IP address. So, I'm still not sure why people are using a VPN instead of a Proxy. Can someone shed some more light on this please?
And, I have two questions.
1. What would happen if I connect a VPN through a VPN?
2. Any good freeware program that masks your NIC MAC address? |

Re: VPN Providers - Revealing Real Information If there is legal issue, people from the state can get a subpoena and find out all the info needed from VPN provider.
People tend not to use proxy because many Net services can identify proxy IPs easily these days... |

| peter piper | 02-01-2020 08:31 PM | Re: VPN Providers - Revealing Real Information If you use a shared proxy vpn, they may can tell you are using a proxy, but also 5,000 others are using the same proxy.
Thus, they could never find you!
Only if using a private, dedicated IP/VPN - can they find you! |

| peter piper | 02-03-2020 06:21 PM | Re: VPN Providers - Revealing Real Information It won't work long if you use shared IPs!
You may pass thru a few paypal sales, but they will then eventually lock you.
This is because 400 others are also using the shared IP, also trying to be stealth.
Better get a dedicated IP.
Also, your computer finger print is sent every time you connect with eBay and Paypal. This fingerprint is now used and preferred over cookies and IPs, to track the same users of different accounts.
So there is only one real solution: Get a virtual windows setup with dedicated IP. |

nothing free is good these days. I don't see why you are so concerned about hiding your tracks like this if you aren't doing anything illegal.
IPburger based on personal experience offers the best VPN service for ebay and Amazon, but also other things like Netflix, facebook, etc.
It's built around the mindset of people wanting to get back to selling on eBay and Amazon. And you don't need to worry about actually getting what you pay for, because you always do.
So if this is all you wanna do, then it's one of the few trustworthy ones,. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:26 AM. | |
