Questions about IP Address
 

I am about to open my first eBay Stealth account. I am not exactly tech-inclined and have a question about the IP Address...

If I am interested in opening a few stealth accounts, I would want to change my IP Address each time I want to log into a different account, correct? And I would also want to create new User Account on the computer for each eBay&Paypal account.

I guess what I'm wondering is, won't eBay find it suspicious that my IP Address is different everytime I log in?

Wow. I think I may be in over my head here. Trying to change the IP address is not going quite as well as I'd hoped. Even after following the instructions in the stealth guide. if anyone wouldn't mind helping a newbie out, it would be greatly appreciated!

hi guys,

i'm a newbie as well, i have been through the stealth guide so many times, what can i say computer tech jargon not my thing!!!

ok heres the deal
according to my ISP i am dynamic
i have dsl-504t router+modem broadband
windows xp

i have gone through the forum searching for answers and trialling different methods, have left the computer off overnight, plugging in and out the modem, going into the router details to fix from there but nothing

should i just look at getting dialup to fix (i know slow but if it means less fiddly diddly i'll be happy) or wireless

any answer right now is a good answer - i was hoping to have my new stealth account up and running by end of the week, way its looking going to be impossible :(

Well, I tried to follow the steps that were so kindly given to me by boogernaut... I located the WAN MAC address, but was not able to change it. I was feeling a bit impatient too, so I just went out and bought another wireless router. Problem solved. At least, until I want to create my next Stealth account!
