Do you have a dynamic IP? im not sure if talktalk ofer a dynamic service - if in doubt give them a call and find out.

If not theirs always the option of one of the following providers as all 3 will give you a dynamic IP each time you restart:
- BT
- Sky
- Dongle

Sky mainly static now.

plusnet is v. good.

Talk talk has static IP. Probably not going to be able to change it. :juggle:

Im on o2 and it also gives me a fixed ip... But there is a way to change it by changing the mac address... I don't know if that works on talk talk, but it's worth a try

Other than that, think about getting a new provider

Sky is not static. It has what is called a sticky dynamic IP. Takes ages to change.

The thing is GreenBean there is nothing in those threads :-( and buying a dongle will cost me a fortune if I keep having to top up with credit etc.
