ip, dongle, sII, confused

ok trying to get over my ip hurdle...

virgin bb super hub user :surrender:

so im reading about ip changes with dongles... or mobile phone tethering

i have a contract mobile sam sII which i could use id have to look at the contract to see what net use i got as i remember when i took the contract out i loaded the mins and free text in favour instead of net space as i have virgin bb also

so all i seem to be doing right now is spending money :surrender:

thanks to ebay block im unemplyed as that is my job, i dont have another job thanks to the recession and i dont claim benifits of any sort

with a possible dongle having to be bought and not knowing anything about them or there usage or cost im getting a bit slim... going to have to give up food at this rate

am i better off running through my phones use as a dongle ? i can always contact my provider and maybe up the useage ?
or is dongle best... im seeing dongles with contracts or payg ? how much do i need and how much is that going to cost :>

i got enough money going out on rent, bills, virgin, phone contract without adding to that

some soothing advice is needed anyone :brushteeth:

ive lots of hurdles

Can't you just phone your mobile provider and switch tariffs? I use my S2 on 02 for tethering, works a treat (someone's going to tell me they'll cancel my contract/limit me for tethering within 5 posts). I did the same thing with my S1 on Orange. Before that, had a 3 dongle for when my internet went down. Think the dongle was about 20 quid (this was about 3 years ago). 10 quid gives you a gig of data. There will be better deals now, I'm just pointing you in the right direction.

Oh, and if you're entitled to benefits, go and claim them!

save yourself some cash, ring virgin and the them the superhub is not working you cannot connect any computers wireless and they will send a new one.

At least that way you have a new mac and IP range for a few stealths.
Just log every i.p you ever see as soon as you boot up for the first time.

ok...

have a connection speed issue

tethering through my phone is just not working out for me

looking now at a dongle
didnt want to have to go down the road of spending yet more money but i cant cope with the speed from the phone its like being back on dial up

looking to get a dongle maybe later today or tomorrow...

asking about the ip... will changing to the dongle now throw up a flag as the ip will obviously be changing... im not sure it will as i read ip can change everytime folks log in with certain devices so im thinking i should be ok

just thought id ask the experts 1st :surrender:

turboman 09-05-2012 01:09 PM

held off going out to get the dongle until i got some more advice on them

anyone ?

will the cnaging of provider to a dongle throw up a flag ? :surrender:

im hearing the ip will change everytime i connect so im kinda answering my own question here but if this is the case then dongle is a great ip changer for multi accs yes ?
just disconnect and reconnect for the new acc :spy: is this right

going to set out tomorrow for a purchase so if anyone can give any other tips or advice please do so

thanks a lot
