Dynamic IP question

I bought the eBay Stealth ebook.
I not understood really well the ip changing system.
My connection include dynamic ip service.
When I simply go to my router settings trough the browser, I always reconnected till now just clicking on the disconnect and reconnect button.
Is it not enough? Because on the ebook i see that i should change also mac address.

I not understood if it is required when you can't change your ip simply reconnecting. My router change the ip simply reconnecting with it. It also change when i power it off.

I should change mac address or reconnecting trough settings is enough?
I checked that my way used till now really change my ip.

You don't have to change your MAC address, you only have to change your IP.

In the book, the reason you may need to change your mac is to help change your IP address.
