Btw .. not sure how significant it is, but one thing i do know

When on the move via BT wi-fi .. you can get online via a TT network, have done that a lot when bt's own would not respond

the customer service issues had long been resolved, im sure they use u.k companys now to handle there calls, also there broadband is much better than it used to be, i have never had any downtime, im happy with them for the cost of the service.

Yes UK customer service when I called and very helpful. No problem till now

Orange are dynamic but you need to turn the router on and off f.y.i

You can also go via a proxy but need to be careful of random ip locations.

I have virgin media but i am not sure if it is dynamic

My new sky account with mini sky box style router is dynamic

Go to 192.168.0.1
Maintenance (username: admin password: sky)
Connection status (pop up window)
Disconnect
Connect

Rebooting also seems to change ip, but takes much longer

I don't know if they ever get recycled to the same user though. I'm going to start my ip log and time will tell

Hi just called Sky broadband technical help and they advised me to push in the reset button on the router for 15 seconds after which I noticed my IP address had changed!
