vpn - please help
 

Hi

im with sky ad cant seem to change my ip address, even had sky try helping me with no luck.

so i come across a free VPN site, set up a VPN on pc, now it has given me a locked ip address, but it is near london uk, and as i live near bristol uk will this get me banned again from ebay and paypal?

No need for a user in the UK to use a free vpn in the 1st place.

What help do you actually want?

IP geo-location should not be an issue. Free vpn with paypal/ebay may be.

i need to change my IP address as paypal ad ebay will recognise it from banned account.
But sky has me on a sticky IP address, ive tried everything to chage it but no luck.

so come to the conclusion i need a VPN is this gonna work you think?

No I do not. I will never recommend a free VPN to any user.

I stay away from advice that might lead to a user's account being suspended.

You may, and you should, pay to have a dongle or other methods.

You need the more reliable ways to succeed with stealth.

oh ok, just i was reading the stealth guide and it says you can use a vpn if cant change your ip address.

or i could use my 3g from mobile phone tethering right?

Please note that i only want 1 ebay & paypal account, so i dont need multiple ip addresses etc.

would just like sky to change my ip address, that be the best and easiest.

It would be if the ISP was not sky.

Think there is a thread somewhere about changing a sky IP.

Just confirm exactly what type of SKY Service you have please.
