IP query
 

I know you're probably all getting tired of my posts, but i just have one final IP question just to be certain

. Basically for some reason, every time I hit the reset button on my BT router, my IP address changes on IP burger.

Is this all i have to do so long as im tracking all of them down on a spreadsheet, and obviously switching user accounts?

I'm only questioning this because in the stealth guide, its not as simple as that.... and i've heard mixed things about the mac address.

Resetting the router and making sure the IP has changed is fine. Record it on your spreadsheet.

You have to use a different IP address. Your MAC address needs to be changed in your router settings to change your IP address. If you remember the MAC address you used to get a certain IP, you can note it down and use the same MAC address to get the same IP.

This is only needed if powering down and then powering up the router does not provide a new IP. In this case, OP shouldn't worry about the MAC address as OP seems to have no issue getting an new IP address.
