I have a Desktop connected to a dsl modem and laptop connected to linksys router. I want a different ip on both computers to minimize the amount of times I have to power off the router, but they are coming up the same always in IPBurger.com. Is there anyway to be sure they will always be different? I am trying to cut down on the amount of times I have to shut down my router and wait for a new ip.
When writing this I cant help but to think about the ultimate setup. The easiest most user friendly way to run about 10 accounts. If you want feel free to tell us about your rig.

They will always be the same if you only have one internet connection in the house. Now If you had dial up on one and cable on the other, you would have two different ip addresses.
You cannot get two different IP's while using one internet connection. You will need to get a second connection (dial-up for example) or continue using your method.
There is a nice add-on for Firefox by the way, which always shows you your current I.P. in the lower status bar.
