if i go stealth, do i have to chagne my ip every time i log in ebay?
 

i am sorry if this question has been answered before.
i am currently running 2 accounts already, these are real accounts with my real info.
now i am thinking to go stealth to get 1 or 2 accounts as back up.
here is my question:
if i got 1 stealth account, do i have to change the ip address everytime i log in?

i am currently using cable internet for my other 2 accounts in same computer. to run the stealth account, i am planning to buy a new computer and get one of those Clear mobile wireless device that give you 3g or 4g network to run just the stealth account. in that case, do i just need to keep the new computer connect to the wireless device and no need to mess with the ip since it already give me a new ip other than the one for the other 2 accounts?

You need to make sure that when ever you log into an eBay account, the IP that is used has not been used on a different eBay account before. You can use the same IP on the same eBay account though.

For example

Account 1 - IP 185.247.25.54 - Fine. Not been used before)
Account 2 - IP 185.277.74.58 - Fine. Not been used before)
Account 3 - IP 115.247.87.18 - Fine. Not been used before)
Account 4 - IP 185.247.25.54 - Not fine. IP was used with account 1. Need a new IP
Account 2 - IP 185.277.74.58 - Fine. It has been used before, but on the same account

Since you are going to be running multiple accounts, I suggest from now you start logging all your info.

Make use of this file, created by JamesNorth101, to keep track of everything.

Avoid linking yourself accidently.

Thank you guys for all the replies.
so as long as i keep the 2 old accounts off the IPs that i use for the stealth one, i am good, right?

This question will depend on what method you use to log into your stealth accounts.

For example, if you plan to use your existing Internet Provider, you will have to log your Real Account IP's and Stealth Accounts IP's.

If you use a different method for ONLY your stealth's such as Tethering or Dongle (USB Modem) then you only really have to worry about the stealth's.

Simply put - with THAT move and all other new info, chance of linking is very low.

You want to reset IP each time you sign in. I have written a batch file to restart the router and clear the cookies using ccleaner, which makes things easier

No need to clean cookies each time you log in, in fact this is not a recommended method anymore. You want to keep cookies intact for eBay and PayPal
