If I don't want to tether my phone...

Sorry if this post is redundant, but a few that I read that were related were closed threads from 2012.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note S3. I have a primary eBay account which is not suspended, and I want to create stealth accounts. I don't want to 'tether' my phone (mostly because I'm terminally technologically challenged and even after reading what 'tether' means, I don't quite understand it). When I am at home I use my desktop and my phone to surf the web (sometimes my phone goes into WiFi mode and most of the time it's using my Sprint data plan).

Can I get a first-grade explanation of how I can safely use my phone to check both my primary and my stealth accounts when I am away from home?

I know I will need to uninstall my eBay app. do I need to set up different user accounts on my phone just like the desktop? I have read that I need to clear cookies in my browser (I will google how to do that)--I'm assuming I need to clear them between switching accounts? It's everything else I'm not clear on.

I know that Each time your phone is turned off for ~5 seconds, and back on, it will connect with a new IP address, And/or; If you "Enable Airplane mode" / "Disable Airplane mode" - You'll have a new IP address. Q. So do I just keep a running tab of every IP that I've ever used with all the separate accounts?

Forgive my cluelessness, thanks.

Who is your wireless provider? I'd recommend using your desktop to sign onto ebay, it makes things a lot easier.

I have Comcast.

I have been reading the other posts about using a smart phone, and it sounds complicated. I am such a novice, maybe for right now the better route is to use a laptop by day when I am away from home and then use the desktop at night.

It sounds like if I will be ok if I:
1) Delete the eBay app from my Android
2) Only use my phone to check my email via my gmail accounts that have images disabled
3) Only use my phone to log into my primary eBay account as I normally do now?

Thanks for your help. Now I need to read up on the posts re: using a laptop.

Yes, if you only use your primary account on your phone and disable images you should be fine, if you're checking other gmail accounts associated with other eba accounts, make sure not to click any of the links accidentally.
