Arghhhh I think I've made a boo-boo
 

I have just been going thought the process and changed my IP address and realised I was still logged into my restricted eBay account. Have I botched things up already? I've logged out now obviously!

Need some more information from you...

Were you logging into your restricted eBay account using the same Windows user account as your stealth? That would entail sharing cookies + IP with your 2 accounts, which may lead to a link...even if it is just 1 time.

Repeating this will obviously create a link. Be careful to not repeat.

No, I was logged onto my internet provide andcvhanging my IP address (am with BT and they give you option of just selecting an alternative IP address).

the IP was changed, I checked with the Check My IP link and it was then at that point I realised I had another window open in Mozilla which was logged into my restricted EBay account (I am only restricted from selling, not buying).

So will Ebay have detected my new IP and linked it to the restricted account? I didn't make any transactions or anything, it was just open and I was logged in.

I've not yet created my new EBay/Paypal ID's.

Your saving part is your last sentence.

If there is not ID, all there is the use of the IP.

So when I do create my new EBay/Paypal ID's, using this new IP address they won't be detected and linked to the old EBay/Paypal ID?

If you are sure that IP has never been used on ebay before, there may not be issues.

Make sure you use
IP Burger - Track Your IP Address! to check IPs.

AND

make this file now to log your info

Get in the habit of avoiding that suspended account. Be careful of whatever step you take in the future.

Need a lot more information.

Say your IP was 185.78.54.72.1 when you logged into your restricted account

You then changed it to 874.258.47.12 and you were still logged into the restricted account.

Were you logged or did you log into any of your stealths on this IP address?

WHEN you create the new combination, check the IP BEFORE (use ipburger.com) and make sure that it is NOT the one used for the old restricted combination. Easy

having a static ip for each account is surely asking for trouble

a proper dynamic one which changes every time you access any account is safest

Check with your ISP what type of IP is offered.

Lookat a dongle if needed.
