Two computers same IP?
 

I got the book. I go to ipburger from both computers and they both show the same IP.

I am not a real savy computer person, but how can that be? Wouldn't I get an IP conflict error?

IPconfig shows two different ips one ending in 100 and one 101 if that helps.

p.s. I am sure it's been answered a bunch of times. What's best alternative for new products? Then best for used/antiques?

Ipconfig is showing your internal ip's of your 2 computers on your local network segment.

What ipburger is showing is correct. That is your public ip, visible to the world.

You will need to change ip's between accounts/computers and keep good track of them.

I did you hope that x2 computers would give you different IPs?

Dynamic. Well it is upsetting that Ebay is such &%^$*$&^%&%^&^%$()^ lol

Make note of your IP address -IP Burger - Track Your IP Address!

Turn you modem off for 30 seconds

Turn it back on

Take note of new IP address - IP Burger - Track Your IP Address!

If they are different, you are good to go.
