as above how do i change my mac address? I am led to believe that i need to do this in order to change my ip address is this correct..

i am wireless broadband using router

I know that searching through all the sections of the forums and all the threads contained in the various sections seems a little daunting. Let me give you a little search tip to make things easier (I think it's easier, anyway). Try using Google to search for more in depth answers to your questions. You only really need to mess around with spoofing your mac address to obtain a new PUBLIC IP. This means the IP that your router grabs from your internet provider. Especially on a router you have 2 options. 1, to use the clone mac address option, or 2, get a new router. Again, it all depends on your internet provider. Is the IP stored in the router itself, or is the IP in the modem or wireless radio on your roof, or somewhere else?

Creating new threads will not get you an answer any faster, it will only annoy other members of the forum.

What you need to do is use your brain. Start with Google.

Go to Google and type in "How do I change my IP Address using AOL broadband" - without quotes. Hell, try it with the quotes! Search and read.
