Default Which dongle is the fastest/bigged ip pool?

Do you guys know which dongle has the fastest speed with biggest IP pool?

I'm currently using verizon 3g and its pretty slow but I know it has a big ip pool but its also pretty expensive 50 bucks a month for 1gb.

Anyone know of anything better (Ip pool to me is the most important thing, but was wondering if there was anything similar to verizon ip pool thats faster and cheaper)

Thanks, someone recommended virgin mobile dongle don't know too much about it but heard it has a small IP pool

thanks

Big IP pool for 50 bucks is good though...

I think I might get one of the Verizon dongles.
Any suggestions on one of the 3?

I've used tethering with my Sprint phone (not a dongle, but I'm pretty sure it works the same)

Speed is fast, really no different than browsing on my cable internet connection.

The IP Range is small though. I only get the last 2 sets of digits changing.

So xx.yy.zzz.aaa

xx and yy are always the same.

zzz is always the same first two digits, and then one of two different 3rd digits

and aaa is 01-299

So seems like I only have 598 IP addresses available.

Unlimited data though and I seem to use like 200 mb/day only managing a couple of accounts right now, so it's really my only option I guess.

Are there any tricks to expanding the IP range?

What do you guys do when you use up all the IPs in the pool? Buy a new dongle?

I haven't gotten that far yet, but it is a concern.

Eventually I'm hoping my family gives in and dumps Comcast phone service so that we can go back to the standalone modem-router combination and I can change IP by changing the mac address.

It's always seemed to me like that was the easiest solution.

We actually switched to Comcast phone like a week before eBay took down my real account. ugh.

But yeah, buying another dongle is an option.

One of my problems is that I don't have very high profit margins, so on a 10 item limit I only net like $20-$30 a month. c'mon limit raises!

@lightmaria...

You are on a very outdated plan. 3G is the older standard and 4G LTE is the preferred network for mobile networking.

$50/month for 3G and 1GB is bad!!!

If I sign up w/ Verizon now, they'll charge me $20 for the router and they'll provide 4G LTE service w/ 3GB for $30 monthly...so that is the same $50 as your current plan but with better speed and more data.

I don't know your situation if you're in a contract, but you should think about switching out of that outdated plan.

I've been using this (Verizon USB760 3G ) ^ link. I'm gonna look into this thing you showed me, thank again.

By the way, Do you know how big the IP pool is? I'm assuming its just as big as the 3G one.

Thanks guys. =)

This may sound stupid but can ebay/paypal tell that I changed my dongle to something else? That won't link me if all my stealth accounts use a 3g verizon dongle and then I upgrade to something else and all of a sudden all my accounts are on 4g? Do they even have that kinda info?

They're not interested in your connection speed, just your IP address when it comes to this topic.

Depends on the acutal ebay activity.

I run multiple accounts so I have multiple ISPs to allow a great variety in making sure I avoid similarities ( of info).

Not unreassonable to have more than one means of ISP access.

As a long term plan, I recoup any out goings with selling enough items.

Ow, thats a pretty big precaution. I don't think my activity is at that level yet. I think I'm going to risk just changing it to a 4gb or maybe gradually change it over some accounts so it doesn't all switch to a different ISP at once. And I'm not really changing the ISP it's still verizon just a different speed.

Thanks, and especially to anonymous for telling me about new connection. =)

The IP pool is based on your location and also the only one who knows is the provider, there's no real way to know in general.
