Hello everyone, I have had multiple accounts shut down on me but it hasn't stopped me from getting back on to ebay.
Before purchasing the stealth guide I spoke to an ebay representative and he explained to me that ebay can link accounts through Ip address's, prior to him I didn't believe it. I opened two new accounts with friends, I have bought two separate laptops and a mobile hotspot with two separate sim cards.
When I turn off the hotspot and turn it back on it gives me a new IP Address so I'm wondering.
How has this not triggered some sort of red flag with ebay if every time I turn the device on and off again I am logging on to ebay with a different IP.
any help would be appreciated

It probably does raise some red flags. eB has several ways of tracking and linking you. Ip is only one. Usually one isn't enough for ebay put a nail in your coffin.

If I understood your question right, you are asking why no alarm goes off in EB if every time we log in we have a different ip?
Because this is the normal behaviour if your ISP provider gives you a dynamic IP (like the one I have). There is nothing strange if I log in 50 times a day and I have a different IP. That's the way it normally works.
Does this answer your question?

Again, not everyone had a static i.p.
Some people usr dongles full time
If everything else matches up such as location cookies etc nocreason to worry.

So long as cookies are in place its fine, just make sure you track IP addresses and do not use the same IP address on different stealth accounts.

Ips will repeat. I have been tracking for almost 4 years and sometimes it takes 1-2 years. I use ATT, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, iPhone tehther, and Internet to go...
Everyone has repeated at one time or another..... Some more then others....

Well...I've posted this before, but 2 years ago, all my accounts got limited due to linkage with my ex-wife. She did something stupid, got her's limited and they got mine too. HOWEVER, my current wife had an account that was used on my computer, same IP, every day, just different name (her maiden) and address and it did not get touched....so I'm not convinced that same IPS's are quite as HUGE a deal as many people here say. I know lots of people will disagree, but that is just my personal 1st hand experience.

Having dynamic IP isnt something new, its popular since '90s. Your host doesnt change also location is usually the same. It would be worse if u connected from different countries.
Also, they dont care much about IP, because several people can use same public hotspot, dormitory etc - the all have ONE external ip, also sometimes small vilages wheres only 1 ISP.
They care more about cookies, but not only. Also browser version, browser headers, system, system and keyb language and most important - timing. If you log in to the accounts everytime in the same period of time, they're linked.
Just think a little for gods sake!

1. Same IP, and Different cookies, MAY HAVE NO PROBLEM
2. Same IP and Same cookies, RED FLAG
When each person uses a different computer to do eBay stuff, it may be like an office with 100s of employees. Each person has a different computer and have separate cookies. eBay will have a problem suspending all of them.
However, if two people use the same computer and probably the same user account. The browser cookies and flash cookies are stored together. BOTH ACCOUNTS WILL GO DOWN IF ONE GOES DOWN.

Gotebay has it right. Offices have hundreds of employees all using eBay, but cookies are the major issue.

That's just not that case all the time, and I just have my experience to know that.
I can only tell you the facts in my case, which is I was NOT using different user accounts on my computer...my wifes account had everything the same in that respect. But when my accounts (11 of them) went down, her's did not.
She's now an ex-wife and doesn't use ebay anymore, or I'm sure ever will. I'm not trying to argue with some of you folks, just telling you my experience.
And, my first wife and I both got our accounts back up and running, but it took 3 weeks, and I'm sure we're still linked today...which is why I have 10 stealth accounts now...so it was a good thing, in the end.

It is MOST certainly the case should there be other factors that have flagged accounts.
From your descriptions, you may be one of the luckier users who is managing to stay under (known) ebay flags.
That said, it is still the considered sensible advice to operate in a different manner.
Following the guidelines by GOTEBAY will allow far better operation of stealth accounts. There is little to no need to have the worry of ebay watching an account anymore than needed.
Due care and attention are imperative for operating in stealth.

I agree, and I certainly apologize if anyone got the impression that I was advocating anything but stealth tactics.....I was simply reporting on an experience that happened to me...I now use ALL stealth procedures.

I went couple years of having 2 accounts same IP at same house.... However all other details were different. Once one went into manual review because of a demanding customer, they both went down about 3 minutes apart.
