Comcast ip address recycle
 

Does comcast recycle their ip addresses? It has been one year since I have made my stealth account. I have been tethering my phone to access it. I am just scared to use comcast again because that is what I was banned under and all my family and friends were connected to me were also banned. I changed the router already right after. I was thinking trying att uverse internet but I like comcast. Should I be safe going back to comcast? Thanks!

All IPs are recycled. That is why you have to record your IP. Uverse is NOT GOOD for stealth as you will only have one IP for months at a time with no ability to change it..

Please remember one thing, there's no such thing as infinite amount of IP's, eventually you may get a repeat. That being said, if you repeat an IP lets say 3-5 months apart, it's not the end of the world....your NOT going to get linked instantly.

I feel that people a misconception that if you repeat an IP at all in 1 year that the world is going to end all the stealth accounts will some how explode....This is not going to happen.

Here is the scenario you DON'T want:
1. Monday: Log into Account A with IP 192.168.0.1
2. Tuesday: Log into Account B with IP 192.168.0.1
3. Tuesday: Log into Account A with IP 192.168.0.1
4. Tuesday: Log into Account C, D with IP 192.168.0.1
etc......This will cause a link for sure, almost 100%.

Thanks for the replies! But I was just going to stick to one account for now on for the comcast internet. So repeats should not matter right? I just don't want to have a repeat of an ip address on comcast that was logged by ebay with my original suspended account. I never logged ip addresses before with my original suspended account and have never logged back in to any ebay account under comcast. I always used a tether. Thanks
