New Ip everytime I power up?

Im not sure if this has been answered already , Since I couldn't find the thread I thought id ask. Id like to know If I have a At&t dongle is it ok if I get anew ip address everytime I power it off/on and reconnect?

im only managing one account not multiple and so far ive done so with no problems. id just like to know if anyone has had problems doing this and if it is suggested.

That's fine, it's the nature of dongles to get a new IP when you connect.

New IP address is good - use it for making new accounts - keep track like GB stated

The good thing about this type of IP is it is known to be dyanmic. paypal/ebay expect it to change on each sign on.

The account should have a user account & cookies. That is how it gets recognised as OK.

But this IP could repeat frequently because it's only 3-last-digits change after it was reconnected, all other digits remain the same, if you do not change a basestation. Have you ever faced these problems with AT*T?

Re: New Ip everytime I power up?

Some providers have smaller IP ranges than others. I haven't used AT&T personally, but have had that issue with T-mobile hotspots before. That's why it's extremely important to keep note of all of the IPs you've used.

If it's really becoming an issue, you could go with another company that has much more IPs like Verizon. Though I should mention it also has to do with your location (being near a large city affords you the most amount of IPs vs in the middle of nowhere) and 3G IPs are more plentiful compared to 4G (so it's worth dealing with the decreased speed in exchange for more IPs).
