Easier method is to just put the phone in Airplane Mode then Off Airplane Mode.

That is what you use the phone for...tethering as IP provider - works well for dynamic IP

And always check and write down the IP being used after each reset to make sure it's not used before. After a while you'll get the same IPs so this is key

well i never got kicked out...... Just swap the router with a new one that will do the trick. should def read the stealth guide it explains that.

I just use Sky broadband you can change your IP from Admin panel in 5 seconds I think its the easiest method
and you never get a replicated IP You cant go wrong. Its worked for me up till now with no problems whatsoever.

So I did absolutely everything that stealth told me to do, or at least, I thouight I did. Immediately after I posted my first 14 dollar item, eBay banned my account because my "regestration info" was like my other banned account. IP was clear, everything was brand new and/or different, not even close to my other account. What in the crap went wrong? I've been trying to get back on eBay for almost a bloody year...everything I try does not work!!!

Not even eBays customer support number works...

What type of notice did you get?
What was the registration info then?

The notice was "your account has been restricted due to..." pretty much told me that this account was linked to my old banned account. I changed my name to a completely different name. New address, new credit card, NO bank account even linked, new PP account, new IP address...somehow I'm thinking it has something to do with the IP. There is something I'm not getting...

Have you looked at the ebay stealth guide? You may be overlooking something very little that is linking your accounts.

Hi I got a pay as you go mifi dongle two weeks ago and keep checking with IP burger and upto now I haven't had the same IP address do it two three times a day to check ...in the UK but maybe take a look
I have opened ebay account and just building up browser and cookies hoping to set up paypal once bank details arrive !!

Purchased an internet dongle. Specs below.

IEEE802.11b/g 300mbps, 2.4 GHz ISM band. I'm guessing it just plugs in and every time I connect to the internet it changes the IP addy?

what internet service provider do you use.


Do not get the double pack combo router/modem.


make sure to get the standard modem and use your own router.


then it would be alterable.
