Not on my current device I don't. Everything I have read has said that it can't be changed.

What is your current device? If you have dynamic IP, in most circumstances, powering off...waiting...then powering on will reset the IP

you change your MAC, save, then reboot modem , go to IPBurger and check your IP.

Now if you have a Static IP then it can't be changed and you need a Residential IP from IPBurger. (which is what I use)
