AT&T U-verse how to change IP
 

How do I change my IP address on at$t Uverse..I turned it off and then had to have tech support send a signal to it to get it restarted and it was still the same IP address HELP

Ok, I read thru the Stealth book--and I am LOST:tears:

Here is the questions I have if someone can please help me..

1. I have att&t U verse-I was told earlier by a member I can't change my IP so basically I am dead in the water right?

2. I was going to buy an acct, on the description it says comes with IP address-ok again, please explain to me--how can someone give me an IP address?

3. Using any address as long as it close to my IP address and the person is not using paypal or ebay its all good--well my question is how on earth do you open a bank acct and get a cc to a address that you are not at--because if you take in your ID It will have your address or if you tell them to send it XYZ address umm, you can't get in someone mailbox HELP PLEASE

I am sorry but I am really not up to date on all of this yet, but say how would I get or use a VPN or phone tethering, what is that---

no you are not. There might be other workaround solution to change IP address if switching the thing off and on again doesn't work.
In any case if you are determined to run stealth accounts you can get a internet dongle to connect and use it only for your stealths.

seller is probably offering you also a VPN/VPS connection

Ok, not switching it on and off only makes me have to call the AT T guy and have them send a new signal, and it just turns out to be the same IP address

How do I install a VPN on my home computer and please explain what a dongle is, and how it would work, sorry I am really new at this, read the stealth book, and still very confused.

You would use the VPN service that the seller offers. Contact the account seller about this.

Is AT&T U-Verse really so bad at changing IP's? Even when you MAC Filter?

How large of an IP Pool do you guys have when using AT&T U-Verse?
