Couple of questions

Hi all,

First post here, and with questions (as expected) :P

Question 1)
I purchased the stealth guide today, and so far it has been interesting reading, I am stuck on the changing of the MAC address within the router settings page though. I have logged in and looked all over for a way to change it, I can see it but not change it, and can't find information on how to do so, is this a common problem?.

Question 2)
After trying to change my IP address that way, I simply just shut down my computer, unplugged the router/modem for 5 minutes and restarted it. Turned on my computer again and found my IP address had been changed successfully!...easy as that!. What has me confused though is that if it was that easy to change the IP address then how come it is not written in the guide?, the closest to it was to router shuffle by using different routers, which I didn't have to do.

Hope I am not missing something here and potentially making a mistake this way.

Remember to note down all your ip changes if going to be logging into multiple accounts to double check no repeats

Welcome to the forums OP - don't need to worry about changing MAC address - it isn't critical for stealth. IP is important to change though
