Trying to sign up for AOL dial up but have a question
I called vonage today and they said AOL wont work since its dial up.I thought you can get any phone company since you are just dialing in through a number but she said that I have to have dsl or highspeed to get vonage.
For you guys that have netzero or aol dialup what phone company do you use?
Im looking for a cheap one since the dial up is $10 a month....
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
Just call your local land line providers and ask them what is the least expensive package they have .. Tell them you will not be using the phone line for calls or anything, just faxing few things here and there.. Than chose the best one. Mine cost me about $25 a month plus $9.99 monthly AOL fee...It's a lot, but I like getting different safe IPs when switiching windows and Ebay user IDs.. It's worth it. Maybe you can do better, so I hope this helps!
i have att unlimited long distance for $25 on top of my regular service. But they stated it cannot be used for dial up internet. I will see how long my service will last before they switch me back to measured rate...
As long as you have physical land line installed in your place, you can use AOL dial up. I have one jack going into my land line phone and the other into my computer. All you need is a splitter ( I think that's what is called), and you can buy it at Wal Mart.
