Instagram do you have to provide ID/Verify?

Do you need to provide ID/Verification pic when opening Instagram account for individual or business use?

I got asked to provide ID and Picture for violating Insta terms and conditions soon as I opened the account, can't understand whats happening

No, they don't usually asked those IDs or for any verification.
What IP are you using when trying to register an account?

no, asking for Id/verification isn't normal for Instagram.
Something must've been flagged in their system for them to ask you to verify your identification.

Facebook/instagram do this when they suspect (usually correctly) that you're making a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ account. Probably your IP. Use a mobile IP.
