I Need A Credit Card...Now
 

I am unemployed and have bad credit. In this lovely economy, who can I get a credit card from? I realize the interest will be high, and the useable amount low, but I need to get out of a jam pretty quick.

Did you google "bad credit cards"? There are lots of sites out there that will give people credit cards that have like a 500 FICO score

You are better off just borrowing some money.

The sub prime cards like first premier, etc, will only give you a $300 limit, and by the time the fees are added you only have $150 available.

If you only need that much, I would just borrow it.

. try a credit union local first.

It just auto repairs, I could really use about 300 bucks right now. I didn't tuck any of my Ebay profits away, because I've been living off them. So when my three accounts went down, it done me in, as they say.

If your credit is that bad, most of the cards you would be able to get are only prepaid anyway which kind of defeats the purpose. :(

Is it just me or do people who are desperate for money not use common sense? I was watching tv the other day and there was a commercial on tv, and it guaranteed you to get up to 3,000 cash within 15 minutes no matter how bad your credit score. I paused the dvr and the interest rate was 115%+.

I am not bashing the op, but if you have no money, why would you borrow up to 3k, which will cost you over 6k, and by the time its all over and you cant pay it back, I dont even want to know how much you will owe.
