Download and extract FirefoxPortable.exe

Click "finish" and don't run it yet

Go to the root folder and click "Other" folder

Click inside "Source" folder

Cut/Move FirefoxPortable.ini file to the root folder

Open/Edit file with a text editor like Notepad, and change the highlighted value to "true" and save.

Do this for every folder of FirefoxPortable so you can run them
simultaneously or on SAME USER ACCOUNT without sharing ANY BROWSER DATA.

Change your IP accordingly for your designated account.

Can you advise on the IP changing? Where to acquire such IP's? Could you use 24vc for example or does it have to be a proxy IP?

Proxies work but you have to pick a good provider who is not abused. VPNs work also as long as you switch to designated IP for designated account. Again, the trick is to find a non-abused provider.

I always just used to manually turn off things like Flash Cookies but by the looks of it this done it all in one go

No need on portable Firefox, everything will be kept inside the folder.

Afraid I found out the hard way that flash cookies did get shared between portable browsers when I was experimenting with them 2 or so years ago. Perhaps that has changed in the intermitten time

No they don't, this is coming from who did rigorous testing. Follow the steps outline above.

I only ever had an issue with it sharing between other Portable Firefox Browsers. As soon as I turned off flash cookies it wasn't an issue anymore. Its a very simple fix.

i am using multiple windows accounts. i think firefox doesn't mix any accounts cookies or any other firefox objects, right?

They wont share information between user accounts, but if your using separate user accounts you don't really need a portable browser

NO, Portable Firefox is not yet supported in Macs, at least not that I know of...
You can try a virtualization software or Bootcamp to install Windows on. Possibilities are endless.

Create a folder for each account you are planning to make, drag the installer there and extract, rinse and repeat. Download the installer once, but extract it on each folder. Follow the guide for dummies above.

Do you just disable the flash cookies in the main portable before you start cloning the folder?

If you've already been running accounts on multiple user accounts on Chrome, is it possible/feasible to transfer over the cookies.. or just take your chances with the fresh portable?

Because I gotta say, it does make you nearly 100% certain you're operating right when using user accounts.. but for more than a few accounts its tedious as hell to keep up with. Especially with using a mifi.

The difference now is that you can open several FF portable at the same time now right? Previously, you cannot use 2 or more FF portable at the same time, but you had to close one, then open another correct?

Correct, with my method mentioned above, you can open them all and run them simultaneously without sharing browser data. Make sure each one has dedicated IP.

Do you need to run the installer for each one, or can you just copy the blank FF portable installation to different directories for new users/accounts? I'm just thinking that would be a good way to keep the base settings intact vs having to re-do them for each install. But I'm not sure if there is an issue with copying to a new folder vs installing to each?

Answer: Proxy for each browser: gives you dedicated IP without the complications of VPN/VPS/Tethering.... you name it

Do you have a guide or can point me to one to set this up? I'm using a Verizon Jetpack Hotspot then restart it to change IPs for each account

Could you share which proxy you are using?
From what I could find/read most proxies are not reliable since their IPs may be abused.

The best way is to create a template. Create a folder and name it Template or whatever, install the .exe there but don't run firefox yet so that the fresh configuration will stay untouched. Copy this template folder if you need for multiple accounts.

What you mean here, we should extract the firefox portable to a folder called 'template' for example and do the moving and modifying of .ini file and leave it be.

And when it's time to create/log in to an account, then we should make a copy of that template folder to an appriopriate folder (which is usually called under the name of the account).

Am I getting this right?

Yes, the only thing you should modify is the .ini on the Template, don't open firefox.

Everything is contained FFP folder. FFP doesn't come with flash so you are safe...

So when I use FFP ebay cannot even store flash cookies to FFP because it does not come with flash? So it can store only usual browser cookies?

Yup, flash cookies can only be stored if there is flash hence the name flash-cookies..
Only regular cookies stored and all stored in FFP folder. Everything is contained like it should.

Okay. The last question - so I have my main paypal/ebay accounts running on my chrome which I use all the time. So I do not need to create a new user account, I just follow your guide and I can have multiple FFPs on the same user account where this chrome is, right?

Yes, that and use the same IP that you used with Chrome and you are set.

Don't try to run multiple accounts under 1 IP because that would be a linking factor.

What I am gonna do, I am gonna run my chrome as usual (and the accounts which are associated with it too) because it has cookies history and I do not see a reason to start running it on FFP.

I will just run my new stealth accounts on FFP.
