Default Firefox Portable Better Than VPNs?

Is Firefox Portable Better Than VPN's?

That's the question for you to answer...
but in my opinion, when it comes to running multiple accounts... Yes!

Just converted from VPN's to Proxy's a few weeks ago and there's a few things I want to share. There's Dislikes and likes.

Things to dislike
  • No one and I mean no one set up a guide showing how to set up firefox portable with eBay Stealth accounts correctly "AND" completely
  • Not 100% sure if you bought a blacklisted proxy or not, it's a shot in the dark.

Things to like
  • Unlimited stealth accounts all on one user profile.
  • Saves storage, Saves Ram and Saves time.
  • Stealth accounts are portable from PC to USB to PC. (That's Nice!)
  • When using a VPN you can tell it's a VPN, When using a properly set up proxy your connection looks as legit as a Ethernet connection.
  • VPN cost $12 to $30 per month, proxy cost $0.75 to $2.50 per month.
  • VPN require download and activation each time to run and can drop connection from time to time exposing you, When the Proxy is configured properly (which takes less than a minute) it is forever activated and connected to that browser.

In conclusion I would never say "Not" use a VPN because I still use it I still will continue to but with the ease of access and cheaper option of the proxies I have started doing things with my free time like making eBay, PayPal, Amazon seller accounts and few more for each browser. Turns out I wasn't willing or ambitious enough to make more stealth accounts than needed solely because it was burden to buy VPN's, set up, configure, make accounts, and the account may or may no go live, but now if a ebay account doesn't bypass verification/security I just make a new browser and try again. My success ratio has been about 8 out of 10 accounts which is similar to my VPN results and this isn't IP based but security question oriented.

In the meantime. Tonight I shall smack Amazon with a vengeance. This is for all of my graveyard accounts killed back in my rookie days. Long live the stealthy.

hmm... I'm not so sure. A datacentre IP will always be a dc IP. Proxies and VPNs both show that, unless you're talking about residential IPs here.

It is better if you use Residential IP Proxies vs Datacenter IP VPNs.

Amazon is a bit more comprehensive than this Temple.

Firefox Portable is just browser; it's not VPN so you can't compare the two.

IPBurger recently released a browser extension for Firefox that does what you're mentioning though, give it a read here: https://secure.ipburger.com/kb/firefox/setup

Was speaking primarily in terms of stealth accounts in general not strictly amazon, but contrary to what most people say about amazon being stricter than eBay. I still have two amazon accounts with "Terrible Setup" that are at-least 2 years old now still currently active and making sells. By terrible setup I mean, shared IP's from well known and abused VPN company that do not offer Dedicated IP's, VOIP phone for verification, Multiple names, One name for TAX info, One name for card, One name at registration, etc. Same computer PC for both accounts and absolutely no spoofing of the screen, fingerprints, No Virtual Machines. Just the shared VPN that not only gives shared IP's but different IP's each time. You can try and tackle this confusing puzzle for me if can.

That's correct boss, but the argument is Firefox portable with Proxies is better than using the most well know or most common setup which is just simple VPN coverage.

I would say whatever works for you is best. We have customers using both setups which we support. For Amazon usage I'd say Firefox is better because of fingerprinting.

Your account is allowed because it has history. Do some more research and testing.
