| Agreed. The only folk who use old threads are the spammers and post-count grabbers thinking they'll slip under the radar, not realising it bumps them to the top of the page.
Saijin is the only moderator who tries to keep on top of it to an extent but they could be auto closed as you suggest.
The downside is that between the spammers and rsot's junkpost mandate then current threads would become an absolute mess and be pushed off the front page. |
